Oasis Data Analysis
- Go to www.ohiolcap.org
using your User ID and Password
- Go to
student information if the homeroom list doesn’t come up on the
screen. Check to see if all your
students are listed. You need to
delete any students who are no longer enrolled. You need to add any of your students who
are not listed. If the student is
enrolled, but absent for the assessment, you will take care of that later.
- Go to
Assessment and click. (Click on your grade and grading period for this
data analysis. Note: if proper assessment is not listed, go to Add
Assessment, click Add, then continue to step 4.)
- Put in
scores. The names are in
alphabetical order. If a student
was absent for the assessment, but still enrolled, click on the check mark
in the box on the left. His or her
score will not be tabulated in your percentages, etc.
- Save as you go! (any of the four boxes
in the corners)
- When
finished with the data sheet, save and print. Use the Landscape print mode.
- Go to
the bottom of the data sheet, click on Class Profile Graph, Landscape and print.
- Go to
Classroom Item Analysis – Landscape
and print.
- Go to
Non-mastery Report – Print, but don’t use Landscape.
- When
everyone is finished you can get data about Item analysis for the school
or district by using Landscape and
print.
The different kinds of data you have access to:
- Data Sheet – the sheet with the
classroom lists and scores
- Class Profile – A bar graph with
the students scores for the entire test
- Non-mastery report – A list of
students per question/indicator who did not get 75%or higher.
- Classroom Item Analysis – A bar
graph on each question/indicator.
This shows how the class (not individual students) did on each
question/indicator.
- District item Analysis- This is a
double bar graph. One bar shows how
the teacher’s classroom did on each question/indicator compared to how the
district did on each one.
- Individual Student reports – Go to
student information and click on view of the student you want to see. You can click on this year or previous
years. When you pull up a student’s
report, you can click on view chart or view student report to get
information. The control chart
gives a bar graph that shows all the scores, but gives only this student’s
name. The student report gives a
list of indicators that need intervention for that student.
