if Assessment Data needs to be added do the
following:
1. click
on Assessments (see blue tabs at top)
2. find
your assessment, (check your class number)
3. add
data (note: if proper assessment is not
listed, go to Add Assessment, click Add, then continue to step 1 above)
Group Data Analysis:
- After
class lists are created and test scores are entered, print Class Profiles
for each class, Class Item Analysis for each class and one District Item
Analysis
- Use
LCAP’s “Group Data Analysis” worksheet
- Have
teachers grouped by grade and subject
- Use
the District Item Analysis sheet to determine the 5 most successful
questions and 5 least successful questions. Fill out the rest of the worksheet
individually or in group
- Look
at trends (such as M/C questions are higher than S/A or E/A)
- Determine
why the scores were good
- Determine
why the scores were bad
- Q.
appeared wrong: typed wrong or needs adjustment
- Q.
is bad: ambiguous, doesn’t hit GLI, not at grade level
- The
lesson plan for that GLI were faulty: didn’t have time to teach the GLI
at all, bad lesson, needs additional class time, class was interrupted
