OASIS - Online Student Information System
The idea of OASIS was first conceived by Ed James, a former educator, principal
and Center Director, about 7 years ago. He felt it was important for teachers to
align their curriculum to Ohio's standards and grade level indicators and to adjust
teaching based upon analysis of student strengths and weaknesses throughout the year.
OASIS is a web based system, which means that it can be accessed any place that has
an internet connection. OASIS will work with school designed assessments as well
as with practice OGT assessments. OASIS started with limited features, but based upon input
from Ohio teachers, additional features and reports have been added. Over
3,000 Ohio teachers use OASIS to improve student performance.
